What is the power consumption?

My T Brite Lights™ L.E.D. light strings are extremely economical to run.

POWER CONSUMPTION PER STRING OF MY T BRITE LIGHTS

70 count light strings (Regardless Of Colour)
1 single string of lights (70 lights) less than 0.02 amps
2 strings attached (140 lights) - 0.03 amps
3 strings attached (210 lights) - 0.04 amps
4 strings attached (280 lights) - 0.06 amps
5 strings attached (350 lights) - 0.08 amps
6 strings attached (420 lights) - 0.10 amps

Rope Light
10 metres - 0.42 amps

What is the maximum number of light strings that can be connected together?

You can connect a maximum of 20 lights strings together (based on 70 light count strings)

My T Brite Lights™ look similar to many US Christmas Lights - what is the difference?

My T Brite Lights™ have been made especially for sale in Australia and New Zealand.

That means that SAA standard and certified plugs and cables that meet Australian standards have been used in every set of lights.

They are also rated to run on Australian 240v power instead of the 110v power that is used in the USA and Canada.

So if you want American style Christmas lights - they are now available down under and without needing to purchase expensive step down transformers to change the power supply from 240v-110/120v.

What is the brightness?

Brightness varies with L.E.D. color and as technology improves, it also increases every year.

My T Brite Lights™ are some of the brightest Christmas lights that you will find - if not the brightest. The luminescence of LED's is many times greater than that of incandescent lights that use more power.

Check out the video to see the difference for yourself. Pictures speak louder than words.

I'd like a different color combination. Can I interchange different color L.E.D.s?

No, and please don't try! All of our strings of lights have been designed with Non-Replaceable bulbs.

Can I replace the bulb?

Our manufacturing process includes the injecting of plastic material over the connection of the L.E.D. This means that the L.E.D. can not be removed from the socket and therefore no replacement LED will ever be needed.

Can I connect My T Brite Light™ Strings To Other Light Strings?

No and please do not try. Use only My T Brite power cords, extension cords and accessories with My T Brite lights™.

How do LED's work?

My T Brite Lights™ use Light Emitting Diodes or LEDs as their light source. Read more about how LED's work

Why Non-Replaceable Bulbs?

My T Brite Lights use non-replaceable bulbs so that they stay water tight. Read more about why non-replaceable bulbs are used.

What Does IP44 Mean?

IP44 is the rating provided by the Australian electrical testing authority that rates My T Brite Lights on a system of classification for the protection of electrical enclosures against the intrustion of foreign bodies (e.g fingers and tools) and moisture.

The letters are used to indicate the numbers following are an IP rating.

First Number - Degree Of Ingress Protection

The first number of the IP code indicates the degree of protection against contact with moving parts and the

degree that the equipment is protected against solid foreign bodies intruding into an enclosure.

0 - No special protection

1 - Protection from a large part of the body such as hand or from solid objects greater than 50 mm in diameter

Second Number - Degree Of Moisture Protection

0 - No special protection

1 - Protection from vertically dripping water

2 - Protection from dripping water when tilted up to 15°

MY T BRITE LIGHTS NEWS

Getting Ready For Christmas 2012

Christmas 2011 is now only a distant memory.

The crew here at My T brite Lights is hard at work evaluating LED Christmas Lighting products to include in our new season range.

We have a number of great new products that are likely to be ready for Christmas 2012, so stay tuned in the months ahead.

If you have any specific styles that you think you may want added to our range, just drop us an email to info@mytbritelights.com.au and we will add it to our potential styles list.

We will be finalising our new product range in the next few months so that we can have the whole range back up by mid September.

We are evaluating extending our range into some novelty (non Christmas) LED products and will let you know when that happens. 2012 looks like being an exciting year.

Cheers and looking forward to a great year ahead.
